I have a Goffin Cockatoo who is VERY messy! He “whips” his food OUT of his cage…. Literally! I would have seeds EVERYWHERE!
In addition to that, I have four dogs who would love to go to the bottom of our old bird cage, pull out the cage liner, and eat the discarded bird food! My kitchen floor was ALWAYS a MESS!
I purchased the EZ Bow Medium bird cage and have had the cage for over 3 weeks now. I don’t have ANY bird food on my floor! I also purchased plastic “food guard shields” . I had to put the guards on the side of the crocks rather than with the crocks because of the design, but I plan on purchasing some more crocks that will work with these guards. The combination of these two items works BEAUTIFULLY! I am THRILLED! And the best part is that my dogs can’t stick their snoopy little noses under the cage anymore and drag out the cage liners anymore!
In addition to being amazingly HAPPY with this cage; when the cage arrived, the front door was slightly damaged from the shipping. I e-mailed the cage manufacturer and they IMMEDIATELYsent out a replacement!
Great Customer Service! I haven’t had customer service like this in 20 years! This is the BEST purchase that I have made in years! = )
VERY, VERY, VERY HAPPY! = )

    Ivana,

I have always used old fashion newspaper, even going 15 years back. The ones you buy work fine but are alot of money for only a few and if you just change the paper often, no bacteria will grow as the cage liners claim to prevent it but if you get the paper, use old newspapers and your set.

which cage liners would you suggest over normal newspaper. is it worth buying them or is it all hyped up.
